What we handle

Guest play can be used without an account. Puzzle progress, display preferences, timers, hints, and mistakes are currently saved in your browser or app storage.

If you sign in, Amazon Cognito provides Sum45 with an account identifier and the profile details authorized by your identity provider, such as name, email address, and profile image. Sum45 does not receive your Google, Microsoft, or Apple password.

If you create a public profile or use social features, we may store the handle, display name, biography, location, visibility choices, follows, discussion posts, and reports you submit.

02

Why we use it

We use this information to provide sign-in, save preferences, operate public profiles and discussions, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability of the beta. Competition results are not represented as server-verified until the verification service is live.

03

Service providers

Sum45 relies on infrastructure and identity services such as Amazon Web Services and the provider you choose for sign-in. A production hosting and monitoring provider may process limited request, device, diagnostic, and security information needed to deliver and protect the service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use public profile content to infer sensitive traits.

04

Public information

A profile is public only when you enable its public setting. Public handles, profile fields you choose to show, mutual follows you choose to show, and discussion posts can be viewed and shared by other people. Your account email is not included in the public profile response.

05

Retention and control

Local puzzle data remains until you clear site or app storage. Account and community information is retained while it is needed to provide the service, meet security obligations, resolve reports, or comply with law.

You can change profile visibility in Settings. To request access, correction, export, or deletion, follow the account deletion instructions or contact sum45@sum45.com.
